How To Build a Retaining Wall

Retaining Wall Installation

Concave Curves

The Celtik Wall System facilitates the creation of curves. For a concave curve you don’t need to cut the blocks, just lay each block in position, alternating their lengths.

Creating a 90 degree angle corner with retaining wall blocks

To create a 90 degree angle corner use the blocks that have grooves. They are included in the pallet.
Celtik blocks have grooves to facilitate where to cut
Go around the block making cutting the grooves deeper and deeper to make a clean cut Depending on if it’s a right or left corner, split the block along one of the two grooves. Proceed this way on the four faces of the block to get a good clean cut. Make sure to cut the textured side in last.

For your safety, we recommend you use safety glasses.

Strike the newly split surface with a hammer to attain the same finish as on the other blocks.
